'The Wishing Tree' Center Joins Riyadh’s International Education Ecosystem
As part of the Royal Commission for Riyadh City’s (RCRC) efforts to enhance the quality of education and achieve the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, The Wishing Tree early learning center has recently joined the global public education ecosystem in the capital, represented by Royal Commission for Riyadh City International Schools.
This Center, which located in Boulevard City, is a joint venture with Shamal Investment Group. It provides an advanced learning environment for children aged six weeks to five years, based on a play-based learning approach derived from the Australian Early Years Learning Framework. The program is delivered in both Arabic and English, with careful alignment to Saudi standards to support cultural identity.
With the addition of this center, the number of educational institutions attracted by RCRC has reached 10 distinguished international schools. These include well-established British schools such as King’s College Riyadh, Aldenham School Riyadh, Downe House Riyadh, Reigate Grammar School Riyadh, Beech Hall School Riyadh, and Buckswood School Riyadh, in addition to other international schools including SEK International School Riyadh (Spain), Singaporean One World International School (OWIS), and EtonHouse International School (Singapore).
These schools are distinguished by offering modern curricula and advanced teaching methodologies in line with international best practices. They play a key role in meeting the growing demand for international education Improving student scores on globally recognized assessments, such as PISA and TIMSS, in addition to contributing to positioning Riyadh as a leading regional hub for education that nurtures national talent and attracts global investment.
Through Royal Commission for Riyadh City International Schools works to address the challenges encountered by leading international education providers, working in close coordination with key government stakeholders – chiefly the ministries of education, investment, and human resources, by providing a flexible and enabling investment environment that ensures the delivery of World-class international schools while upholding the Kingdom’s religious values and national identity.
